The shifter is a UPR auto shifter....I got lucky and got it used it was fairly simple to install connecting the O/D button was a pain...if you get it new you have to dig out the old O/D button and relocate it....yeah...i'm glad I didnt have too.

i think anyone who can do some reading on the subject and understands how it works and when to use it can handle it. its really not that scary at all.

Since I was a newbe in installing it I asked a lot of questions before installing it.......in all it took about 10 hours total.....just because I had to rewire everything from the previous owner...making sure all the lines and mounting and placing everything was the hardest partbI would say

What type of hood do you have on your car IceFreezen? I'm beginning to shape up the looks of my 99 GT's front end. I got my chinspoiler put on this weekend and the whip is already looking better, with a grill delete coming . I want to have "blunt nose" mach1 looks, and that hood looks sweet.

Bob 01-17-2006 03:44 PM

Not bad at all...

I see you have the UPR cold air kit. Is that right? well anyways it seems you have the smaller intake pipe thats made for the 96- 98 gt's. The MAC cold air kit has a bigger intake tube that takes advantage of the better airflow. The more airflow you have, the better your nitrous and fuel will distribute. Not saying its killing your performance but every little bit helps.

jeredan2003 01-18-2006 11:11 AM

i dunno maybe it just looks small from the pics.

Icefreezen 01-18-2006 11:16 AM

Yeah its all UPR Plenum and CAI.......I think its just the pics no worries

spike_africa 01-18-2006 12:37 PM

You've only seen my car like 3 times.......you should have seen my garage floor after I litterally ripped everything out.......I think I had enough crap in there to shave a tenth off my quarter mile...
