been working on changing that. Was planning on black and tan, but now im thinking of blackening everything and having blue carpet and some blue highlights. anyways, here is the progress. also have the steeda light knob, 9mm hollowpoint door pins, billit e-brake, wiper cover, and a couple other things i think. she's is a work in progress |

here's mine. Did 11 pieces all together. Take everything out took about an hour. Painting was about 4-5 coats, no clear, about 3 -5 hours. Re-install was 45 min. My next thing is painting the "Mustang" and SRS on the passenger glove box. Also painting the pony, the horn, the srs, the dimples, and the little line on the steering wheel. Enjoy.

I'm doing the same thing on the steering wheel, but also all the dimples, the horn, srs, and that line on the bottom
What kinda paint did you use? |
I have been messing around with some red Krylon Fusion for my interior plastic. I tested it on some random piece of black plastic around my house and it chips off. I put probably 5-6 coats on too. Then I tried a clear coat and it still chips, just a little less. Any advice? :wallbash:

So you tested it on that random piece of plastic BEFORE you did it on your car? If so, then why the heck did you go ahead and paint the car when you know it chipped?
