got into a minor car accident....
 

hey guys... well i got into a minor car accident the sunday before last... i was making a left with a guy in front of me, when some towelhead runs the red light and almost WRECKS my whole car... but instead i avoided him at the last second and ended up hitting him... i am not sure how the insurance will play this out because... i hit him, to avoided him smashing into my passenger side at 50 mph :wallbash: . but he ran the red... so we will see. at least i am gonna get a Saleen front bumper and new headlights out of it... :) check out all the pictures @ www.putfile.com/jason24 oh theres also pictures there of my new stereo... :innocent: ive been busy lately...



anyone got any ideas on what kinda headlights i should get? i was thinking about black projectors... http://www.k2motor.com/lhp-mst99jm-ks.html what do you guys think of those? any tips are like always greatly appreciated. :clap:

thanks man. ya the guy had the nerve to get out of his car after it happened and tell me that he thought the light was green... wow... i almost "FLIPPED OUT"!... because basically the car in front of me that was blocking my view made the left on red already and we had been waiting to make the left in the intersection since the light was green... so the light was like red for like 3-4 seconds flat. but hey... "everything happens for a reason" right? :innocent:

Uh man, I'm glad to hear that you're alright. You know I'm sick and tired of some of the people who actually for some reason recieve a license...smart move in order to save your whole car and sacrifice the front end...good luck, get a cobra bumper or something. :beerchug:

Hmmm depends on the projectors, but thumbs up with the Saleen bumper! I had black projectors from mustangtuning.com and they really weren't that great. I mean projection was so so, but I would definately convert them to true HID if you get the projectors. :beerchug:

I wrecked my car on the 18th of december. It was a total lost. -_-

But yeah, my insurace was trying to screw me over and put if as if i had fault, but really i had no way around it, so i hired an attorney and he was able to rule it ou as an "Unpreventable Accident". Insurance paid off my car and I drive a 98 Corvette now.

Im still a mustang fan and i'll prolly buy an 06 GT later on when i have the money for one.

As for your saleen bumper and projectors.. :nono:
Its gonna look really retarded with your stock wheels and the stripes, just put back on a regular bumper and get a chin spoiler.

If your good with your hands, Get the insurance money, and buy a painted bumper from bumpers.com and install the bumper yourself, You will pocket a lot of money from it and you can use that money towards rims and springs.

thanks for the idea. but... i am gonna go with the Saleen bumper anyways and down the road do the rest of the saleen kit sometime. after i get the bumper and the lights done i am gonna get my rims... i called MT like last week to order them and they put me on HOLD!.... for like 10 mins... so i hung up... i am glad i did... cause i needed that money for the minor accident that happened the next day...


anyways... thursdays the big day where i get the wheels rolling on getting my car fixed... i am gonna take it to the body shop @ 10pm and then we will see where it goes from there. :bash:

Do you have full coverage?, and also, take off those stripes if your gonna put the saleen kit.
