Slither's 200k mile Photoshoot
8 Attachment(s)
Snapped a few pics today in celebration of 200,000 miles on the ol' girl.
1999 GT, built in 98' Purchased on Halloween in 2003 Mileage when purchased: 54,265 Purchase price: $14,888.00 It has been a good car. It started out as a stock GT the day I picked it up. It still has the original motor, tranny, rear end, etc. Never been rebuilt. Everything that has ever been replaced is from wear and tear. Power steering pump, rack and pinion, fuel rails (after a near fire last year due to a busted fuel line), and other odds and ends such as ball joints, tie rods, shocks, etc. Just a few new pics on this special day. They are a little grainy..had the camera on the wrong setting..DOH! http://tapatalk.com/mu/aefd63fd-3117-e5c8.jpg The church me and Mandy got married in http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/z...tangs/111b.jpg Attachment 13849 Attachment 13850 Attachment 13851 Attachment 13852 Attachment 13853 Attachment 13854 Attachment 13855 Attachment 13856 |

Had to have it striped down and repainted back in 2008 to fix all the damage that was done by the previous shop which at that point had gone out of business. |
do you happen to have any pictures of what your car looked like when you first bought it?
|

Twice. Once back in 2006 when I got the hood, front bumper, etc but the paint shop screwed me and cut corners with the clear coat and it started fading on the top of the fenders and flaking off on the roof.

Looking awesome. Only way to avoid chips is to put that transparent film but you still see an outline.
