Had some really nice cars show up to help raise money for the childrens miracle hospital on Sat.

A few brand new GT500's and some nice Mach1's

They raised about $180 which isnt to bad I guess since its a first time they ever did this there

That is a really cool idea voting with $, all i have seen were donations at the gate

I see that black Mustang 2 every year at Myrtle Beach, he has a really HOT wife or girlfriend.

I've been in couple of shows where the vote is done with tickets that you buy, the idea is you will buy more votes than just one. If its a good cause the car owners and friends will buy $20, $30, or more in tickets. We call it "buying your trophy" but if the cause is right, everybody wins.

There is a show here in mid August thats put on my the MDA and they bring a lot of kids out to the show with MD and they get to pick thier favorite car, thats the trophy that everyone shoots for. The kids really light up when they see the cars and the looks on thier faces is worth every cent you put into your car. They have on thier Mustang or Chevy hats and stickers on thier wheelchairs, its really "heart warming".

Thats actually his daughter! :p His name is Tom McJunkin and lives near by, he just finished doing a lil adjustments to the motor and bored it out a lil more to make it from a 351 to a 409.

Yeah those kind of shows are what I look for, really makes it worth while to see the kids faces light up like its xmas time and for them to just get out of the hospitals is enough of a treat Im sure!

You guys have a lot of nice cars in the "Carolinas".

there not to bad in VA either, my parents live in Stafford and they have a pither of shows all the time, they sure know how to hand out trophies in that area thats for sure.
