My daughters boyfriend took in his Focus for an oil change to a Ford Dealership. They apparently left the oil cap off.

That will never all come clean. Not to mention the engine damage from lack of oil. They owe them a new car.

There was a walmart that did that to a camaro one time, and they ended up buying the person a new engine and installing it at the shop of there choice, yes a camaro I know but still would piss anyone off!

Was the engine seized up? As much as it sucks I can't imagine a shop paying to replace an engine if their wasn't obvious damage done.
