Well it is just another step in the great scheme of things but like I always like to say, I have made th car look a whole lot better in my perspective. My next step will be getting springs and I am very happy to say that I am getting to put them on soon. :D

looks good!

Saweeet,, that paint will fade and you'll have to recoat it in a few months. Mines not that bright anymore, it gets dull.
|
Yup yup, thats what I have heard. I will probably just get some caliper covers later on.

I've been thinking of powder coating mine!

Looks hella sexy and so does your car, so jealous. :D
Did you sand the calipers a little before you painted them? What did you use, a can or like a brush? Did you take the calipers off to get it all or did the easy way? I bought the Caliper Kit last year and been to lazy to do it. haha |
Looks good man! You shouldn't have a problem with fading or chipping if you took the time to prep it right and put several good coats.
|
I took my time and even bought another can of cleaner, and put 3 coats. Still chipped.
|
I painted mine over a year ago, and the paint is still great. Painted it 3 times though.
Looks good. |
I painted mine 4 years ago. But they are fading and need to be painted again.
|
What do you guys think i should do if mine are chipping? I think i still have the paint for it lol...Would sanding them down then trying to re-paint em work?
