Thanks guys. care to elaborate leonide? did you do four wheeling or desert racing type stuff?

It's always been a dream of mine (albeit a distant one) to race in the baja 1000. so when i have a career with a steady flow of cash I'm gonna make this thing a bad ass pre-runner. long travel suspension, boxed frame, supercharged, bed cage, the whole deal. at least to give me a taste of what the baja is like. desert racing is an EXPENSIVE sport though.

i was in the army at the time, we have a bunch of workhorse vehicles used for training, some of the time we get to take the 4x4 trucks off the road and onto little trails. i got lucky enough to be the driver a couple times. nothing too extreme, but some spots have thick sand. it's fun when the truck is used as a training tool and is pretty much a junk truck. :D this was at Fort Irwin, California.
