Cool pictures. I like that Tundra in the back. Your missing headlight makes your car look like the Terminator.

King 07-18-2009 08:00 AM

Evan, are you drag racing down Nashville's pitlane? That is kick butt, dude! How'd you manage that?

spike_africa 07-18-2009 09:28 AM

YEAH!!!

Mr. Zip 07-18-2009 09:51 AM

Times? : D

Steeda97 07-18-2009 02:52 PM

You mean as Big Black or Rob Dydrek would say..

WNRacing 07-18-2009 03:08 PM

lol, thanks guys! The car actually ran it's best 1/8th time ever last night, 8.54 @ about 81 mph. Not too shabby for an N/A car with 3:73's.

Nick, we race there just about every Friday night when there's not a Nascar or IRL event happening. Delk performance adrenaline drags. http://delkperformance.com/AreaRacing.html

:)

Steeda97 07-18-2009 03:14 PM

Looking at your sig. You went 13.59@99? Any idea why you trapped so low? Man I ran a 13.70@102 with 4.10's! The only time I ever ran under 100 miles per hour was when I was stock, running a 14.1-14.2

8.54 is pretty good. On my 12.6 pass my 1/8th was 8.16@88.6

Honestly, if I was to go back to Beech bend anytime soon I would probably be running closer to 8.4's (mayyyybe even high .3's) on the 1/8th mile and would definitely be over 100 on the top end of the 1/4. The Superspeedway only sprays about 60' of very, very light VHT, so I'm still spinning out of the hole. I just have a lot more seat time than I did back in May, especially at the track.

Powershifting + Driver mod FTW. :D

Steeda97 07-18-2009 03:40 PM

That track must be a little downhill. lol!

mustangvsix 07-19-2009 10:22 AM

the first comment is just a joke that goes around the track. just to bust balls.

and that track is shit. look at it. i'd be concerned that someone would come into my lane if they lost control. lol.

WNRacing 07-26-2009 10:29 AM

Steeda, that's kind of how ALL drag strips are...

And just in case you didn't notice, it's not a real drag strip, it's Nashville Superspeedway's pit lane.

No, thats not how all drag strips are. If its not a real drag strip then there you go, thats why its shit.

Heres our local drag strip. NHRA comes here, Pinks, Nopi etc.

Not going to argue with you, you're being an idiot.

Steeda97 07-26-2009 01:00 PM

Me? I didn't know it offended you personally when I said the track sucked. Sorry for the offensive remarks.

zigzagg321 07-26-2009 01:16 PM

Ok, so a barrier between the lanes that ends long before either car is up to speed is that much better? I think not. When do drag cars lose control...its almost never right at the start...ya know...the ONLY place where that barrier is. So I just cant see where you are coming from. as usual.

Theres a friggin 15 foot gap in between the cars not friggin 5 inches.

friggin.

Dude, there is at least 10-15 feet between the cars, just like most other small 1/8th drag strips. I agree that it is nothing like racing at Beech bend, but it gets the job done and it's hella fun.

Really? It doesn't look it in the picture. I stand corrected!

zigzagg321 07-26-2009 03:50 PM
