This will serve as my official Picture Thread. I'm just going to keep updating my first post with the best pictures I guess.
02-11-2009 (New Headlights & Grille) Attachment 19991 02-08-2009 Today was my first photo shoot. Me and my friend went to a local train station parking lot and took some pictures of our cars. Please let me know what you think. I installed the new billet grill today, but it was after the shoot. silver tint? if so take it off.
|
Are those orange bumper inserts? Never seen those before lol. Not a fan of the mirror tint either. Some limo tint would look great with the black car.
|
|
So no one likes the silver tint? Well, it came on the car. Maybe once I'm working more I'll get it removed and get some regular black. I don't mind it to be honest and I get alot of good feedback on it from people I know.
As far as the letters, not a fan. I'm going to buy the white. How would I go about doing it? Are they stickers or do they just pop in? And how do I remove the old ones? |
Take a hair dryer and heat them up, they will peel right off, might have to use a little bit of goo-gone to get the glue residue off, but make sure you have it all cleaned up before you put the new ones in, which are 3m vinyl decals. Also, I'd take off the pin striping and the dealer sticker (same procedure as removing the letters), x3 on removing the tint and getting black, and wetsand your headlights to get rid of the cloudiness. Should start coming together after you do all of that. Looks like you have a good place to start from.

Oh, and the pin striping... I do not like it very much either, but wont it leave a stripe of paint that looks different than the paint around it? What are you talking about with the "dealer sticker". Sorry, I've never heard that term before (The ford emblem on the back?). |
I think he meant mine, I was just showing you how much better white looks since we got the same car basically lol, dealer sticker is gone off mine btw
|
Oh haha "Clarke Hudson" I see what he was talking about.

Check out the first post to see the new headlights and grille!
As always, comments are welcome and appreciated! |
its amazing what new headlights do for a car, the grille looks good to. Keep on modding it, looks like your going in the right direction
|
Hey man, your front end looks a hell of a lot better! Keep it up!
|
like the headlights - hate the tint, i would go black whenever u got the money, would look alot better IMO. BTW opinions are opinions and the only one that matters is yours when it comes to your car. i get negative feedback for my tailights but i kinda like them so they stay for now.
what do u think about the glasspacks Zip? |
