This is my absolute favorite bike. One of the guys that i race with built it off a Yamaha 1700
The paint is orange rattle can that we use to cover up spots on our race cars.

Here is a pic of our three orange race cars, my old one is in the center with the white stripes, that i did a pooie job taping off, partly because of the body being beat up from my roll over and hitting the wall. with our powder puff drivers. These pictures were taken by a professional. the bike were done by me.

and then a pic of all of our cars. Had to put these in there..

That's a nice result for a rattle can. Where do you guys race at? And are those mod-lites or dirt-mods?

SxyXc 11-19-2008 03:10 PM

dirt track, we race at Lady Luck speedway in lubbock, texas.
the cars shown are two imca southwest sports mods, the outside ones. an imca i-stock, a enduro, and a pure stock.

That's cool. Don't see a lot of IMCA racers around on this site. My buddy did some IMCA sport mod racing a couple of years ago. But this year he decided to take his Late Model WoO tour racing. He was helping me build a purestock for Colorado National Speedway until I found the Mach...I had to sell it to make room in the garage.

Haha on street car over racing..

the main reason i race over get a nice street car, is because i actually drive better and more reserved when i am able to get my speed rush out every weekend..

I would absolutely love to drive a late model. next year hopefully i will be in a sports mod. or i would love to get into arca.

btw, do you keep track of imca points?? if so the ssm driver that got third kenneth graves is a really cool person.. just thought i would randomly throw that out there.

I haven't kept track of IMCA points for a couple of years. Just been helping out here and there with some of the asphalt guys. And good luck in whatever you get into. My friend is trying part time ARCA next year (or at least that's the plan as of August)...Chris Eggleston is his name, so keep an eye out for him if you go and do that.

i like the bike

sweet bike! you can tell its a can though. paint has no...depth. that must've taken some serious patience and aerosol skill.

SxyXc 11-20-2008 12:49 PM

i believe it took him a few hours to paint it... but then the sad thing was, he got a job in Houston and his family stayed here, it took a little longer to get the money from his job than they expected and so he sold the bike. i almost cried.. i was about to get my license and would have had the bike at my house part time.
