very nice why don't i see more dual intake pipes more often? is that because of a turbo setup or is there a benefit to a split intake like that on a stock engine? someone could fab one of those up pretty easy i would guess and i very rarely see that. i don't know much about cobra's though other than they are baddass. they cost too much for me to even look at.

Yeah the dual intake piping is because of the turbo set up. The reason you don't see it on mustangs is because one you can get a regular single pipe intake to flow enough to feed even the craziest N/A set ups. Secondly intakes on the V6 motors don't show much gain at all, usually only 1-2hp so having dual pipes for 1-2hp is just over engineering a basic part. Also where the stock TB is on mustangs, at the back of the upper intake, running dual pipes would be semi-pointless since it would have to combine into 1 pipe much sooner then to see a benefit from two pipes. The reason it works on this cobra is because he has a Sullivan intake which moves the TB opening to the front so then the two pipes collect into 1 pipe for a very short distance right at the TB.

That cobra is very sick, every time the guy posts pics on SVTP I drool!!

wait, I didn't tell you guys they are in the mail???


.... ok maybe that is some wishful thinking. My car probably wont' see boost for a couple years. I am going to get it paid off/mod it with bolts on's and basic suspension mods then start saving for the boost!!:turbo::turbo:
