Let me make your mustang pics HD
 

This is not another photoshop thread, I just want to make pictures look better. I can add color, extract things you didn't even know existed in your pictures. Can make them look old and rotten to brand spanking new <-- most of the time. Can attempt HDR photos too if interested.

I'm not doing this for any other reason other than to make others feel better about their Stangs, and to keep myself entertained.

You can attach your image, and suggest the sort of things you want done. Extreme requests (i.e. Can you change my rims? Can you add a bear in the background? Can you make that an 800x600 [the original was 100x300], etc..) will be ignored. I'm only enhancing your photos. I might do altering a little later on, but to be brutally honest, I'm not that great at the alterations at this time.

Here's a sample of your world in HD. Obviously, the first picture is the original that I took when stuck in traffic back in May. The second photo is the same image just brightened. Not much difference, right? Well the third image is your world in HD. If you do a direct comparison, colors you didn't even know existed from just looking at the original come out in masses. The sky turns from a foggy blue, to crystal blue. The road turns from a moggy grey, to a mild tan.

Another thing to note - not all HD images will turn out this bright. I could easily tone it down without losing much of the contrast and colors. This was a personal preference as I tend to like the brighter images.

good work, that was a bad camera, i just ordered a mach 1 chin spoiler tonight so when it gets installed and a washing ill take some good pics for you.

I made one with enhanced colors in that garage. But I figured that that's not what I really looked like....

as for the rims i have no fucking clue, they look ok and came with the car, someone said they MIGHT be sn95 roush rims... so i dunno... getting black chrome S styles when those tires run off the rims.

Stephen, in my opinion I think you should get Roush sideskirts/exhaust and rear bumper cover, some black FR500s and grill delete. Those rims are really ruining it for you.

Oh! And a 99-01 Cobra front

I also have a white GT with obviously more mods but when i stop doing performance mods i'm going to be doing Cobra side skirts, Shaved 03-04 Cobra Bumper, 01-04 Side Scoops and a roush front. Probably going to change up the hood eventually as well. Or just get an 08 GT and throw that new super shaker saleen supercharger on it. Yeah, i'll probably do that.

Those pics aren't bad, but I think you are going a little overboard on the contrast. I really wouldn't call them HD images either. Sometimes editing pictures taken with shitty cameras won't always yield good results. It's like smelling like ass and then spraying yourself with cologne, you end up smelling like ass scented cologne.

i'm glad someone else said it. just saw the thread, its not really HD photos. it isn't HD unless the source of the photo was taken in high definition. you cant take an 800x600 photo and "make it HD". what you're doing is enhancing color/contrast and doing other processes (assuming using layer masks, deleting color channels, etc.).

its alright for sprucing up pictures that weren't taken at the best quality or with the best lighting originally, but a lot of the times images like these lose a ton of quality and definition of objects as well as becoming overexposed.

It's cool, I realized that when the first jpeg came in. Wish we could upload bmp....those are a ton easier to edit.

just upload it to www.imageshack.us instead of attaching it directly to the post. just make sure you dont have any of the resize options checked when youre uploading the image.

I happy that someone can actually take a little criticism so my hats off to you. It would also help some if the photographers took better pictures.

there was actually a thread on here a while ago with a link that had some really good tips on how to position your car when taking photos. photography ain't easy. it's really easy to take a shitty photo, though.

I hardly call that criticism. It's fact that I over contrast and aren't making them real HD. I'm just taking the definition that's there (which may be hidden) and trying to bring that out. I really like the HDR photos and was hoping someone would have a good project with that.

And +1 on the picture taking comment. It's not easy. I must have taken one hundred or so photos of my car since I got it in May, and only 40 of them I deem worthy of looking at again. The rest look like crap craigslist/newspaper ad pics..

youve got the Brightening part right but if you like at some of the nice HDR's... they are different....

I just ordered the chin spoiler, grill delete is on the list but i dont want side exhaust.... i want o/r H with Stingers.... and Fr500's too me are so ugly... sorry fr fans.... black chrome/hyper coat/chrome S styles are to me the best looking rims... after that are 03 04 Cobra Chromes.
