I hate snakes...scared shittless of them.
Years ago, I was working at a small power plant. I was a chemical rep and sold product to the plant. I knew the guys there very well and we had great fun.
One day, I was walking fast through the chemical room, and nearly stepped on a coiled-up snake which I thought was a rattle snake.
I ran to the control room....all the guys there are hunters and the outdoors types and they ran to check it out. It was a Hog Nosed snake which commonly get confused for a rattle snake. They put it in a bucket.
Later that day, I was leaving the plant. I was backing out in my car. As I looked over my shoulder, I noticed the bucket in the back seat and the lid was popped-off. I jumped out of the car so fast I forgot to put it in park and it backed-up into another car. I looked up to find all the guys on the balcony laughing their asses off. The guy who's car I hit belonged to the joker who put the bucket in the car.
I never found the snake....
