Got the HIDs today

3 Attachment(s)
HIDs from the sig contest came in today and I wasted no time putting them in. AMAZING is all I have to say.

I still need to adjust them so they angle downwards more but I'm going to let it get darker out.

Some pics, the foglights are as white as silverstar's

Thanks guys! It's my dad's stingray, it never gets driven..it's sad.

tsumi88 04-07-2008 06:27 PM

too bad man, if he aint gonna drive it, he should sell it to someone who will.....
i never understood people who had these nice old muscle cars and just "save" them because they will be worth more in 20 years.... yea, true, but what FUN is that!?!?!?!
lol

tsumi88 04-07-2008 06:28 PM

Steeda97 04-07-2008 07:15 PM

Lucky bastard!

StangGT804 04-07-2008 07:31 PM

looks good. what K are they??.. can't wait to get some HID's someday. And forget blinding people.. because i cant see for nothing in some weather conditions....

PColav6 04-07-2008 07:37 PM

They're 8000k, maybe dangerously blue (wonder how long till a cop pulls me over), but they're nice. If I had a choice I'd get 6000k as those are all white, I don't mind these at all though..being able to see at night is amazing. Right now the beams are focused on the trunk area of a normal car about 3 car lengths ahead, think that's too high? I didn't get flashed at by the 20 or so cars driving in the opposite lane.

NoKturnaL 04-07-2008 07:37 PM

Looks good...Oh and whats up with the mountain of crap in your garage??..sheeesh

Not my crap, my mom and dad's. lol. I always tell them I'll throw all of that shit away but no dice, it needs to be cleaned out bad.

mustangvsix 04-07-2008 09:37 PM

nice dude! The stock lights suck on the stang, my dads 350z had HID's and they are soo amazing, HID's should be standard on everything!

Mr. Zip 04-07-2008 10:21 PM

Nice dude! I love those! Were they too hard to install?

WaterDR 04-08-2008 05:10 PM

Holy garage full of shit! That would drive me insane. My parents were always like that....to this day I can always get two cars in my garage - lol

they look like mine so its 8k. I believe AM only sells 8000 they don't give options on the temperature of the bulb

Wombozi17 04-09-2008 09:32 AM

Yea. he Said they were 8000K

Steeda21 04-17-2008 08:27 PM

on stangmods there is a dual beam kit for the normal headlights and not the projectors. What does that mean, dual beam? And single beam?

Dual beam means it has high and low beam, single beam means it's just low beam.

Having no high beam is technically illegal.

Haha, thanks nick, I owe it all to you!

'02SilverBullet 04-25-2008 02:26 PM

BTW PCola.... has that HID kit really made much of a difference in night vision? I have been toying with this idea of getting them but I dont know if they are "all for show" or have real utillity to them. If they dont make that big of a difference then I would just deal with what I got instead of dishing out that cash... I cant see squat right now.... thats part of the reason my car is screwed now is cuz I didnt see that deer until it was 4 feet from me. :all:
