Hey chaps.

I was looking at buying a RSD to cover up the chasms in the back of my car. After looking and finding them all to cost about 120 bucks for a decent kit, I went and built my own. I also did all the measuring so you can take my measurements and build your own or buy a template from me or even all or part of a kit.

Took me an hour to make it. Cut all the wood to measurements, then painted the panels with some rattle-can primer, hit the carpet and the wood with spray can carpet/fabric adhesive (killer stuff but 12 bucks a can) and stretched it around the edges. I used 1"wide x 1/2" tall 2 sided sticky weatherstripping around the entire edge of each panel to seal it and knock out any rattle/vibration issues.

Car is totally quieter inside. Not even as loud and irritating as it used to be. It's a much more street friendly car now.

I'll be offering various levels of my RSD kit on Squarerootofone.com with my PCV oil air separator kits and my .357 Mag door lock pin kits.

Also.. I have T-shirts available. I offer custom shirts as well on that site. If you want something on a shirt that NOBODY else will put there... I'll put it there. I'll even put dangerous and libelous things on shirts.

Looks good.

if yer interested i could tell you how to reliably make rear seat deletes that fit the contours of the interior panels without adding more than 4-5lbs to the total delete, and be able to make them dirt cheap, and very very little effort past the initial setup and design.

i was planning to do this, now im selling my mustang so i lost interest.

Definitely. I was planning on making a huge ass contour gauge but if you got a better way... I'll take it. I had to clearance mine for the roll bar otherwise it would have followed the sides more closely.
