Pics of my new setup......

I was having problems with my DIY intercooler kit. Specifically I didnt have the right brackets to get it to sit how I wanted and I started looking at pics of guys with the paxton setup. My ebay intercooler was doing a good job of cooling but I was about to have to do some modding to get it to fit right and I just loved how the paxton kit looks underhood so I bought one. Its a used kit but its in awesome condition and it even came with the vortech maxflow bypass valve and the powerpipe for it. The intercooler is actually has a Turbonetics part number on it. OMG that maxflow valve sounds SWEET while cruising. It whistles really loud sounds like turbo no joke. But it doesnt really make the blowoff valve noise when you shift because its hooked to the powerpipe. I only got a few shots because it had got dark. I dont really like the powerpipe that came with it because its only 3.5 inches and its not chrome. My other one is 4 inches and its chrome I just have to get the piece welded onto it. Im going to polish the other pipes to mirror finish and its about to get an 8-rib kit with possibly 3.1 pulley. The only thing I dont like is that the whole kit weighs 45 pounds. Im getting the motor ready for 16 lbs boost and maybe 50 shot on occasion. Let me know what you think.....sorry i havent posted in awhile

damn i cant believe i missed this thread.

where are the updated pics of the bigger power pipe. i hope you got it welded with the bypass angled more towards the inlet of the blower. otherwise you could backwash your MAF and have some driving issues.
