Default 00 Gt Sct

I know its not a Saleen, I don't need the remarks, it'll have a S/C when I can afford a S/C. Enjoy the pics, let me know what you think.

Pretty nice, but too many stripes for my taste. Never been a fan of people putting, Ford, Saleen, Chevy, Honda, etc etc. stickers on their windshields. Just don't see the point. Other than that it looks good.

i have to say it anyway...why'd ya put saleen on a car that isnt one..and why so prominently on the windshield in big letters? and tires kickin up smoke in a gravel pit doesnt count...only makes it look silly when you imagine all the lil dings and paint chips that stunt would cost...but on the plus side...i love the front hood stripes that have the gt cut outs...personally i would get rid of the side stripes, the rear window horse, the saleen lettering, and i would continue the hood stripe pattern across the roof and down the back...then it would rock...if i absolutely had to have writing across the front window i would get rid of saleen and yank that ford racing decal off the back bumper to replace it

and you don't really need to call your car a 00 GT SCT. Do you even have an SCT chip or tune on there?

Nice, other than the stickers/decals. Not my taste, but you have to be happy, you are the one who drives it. Lower it and move that factory spoiler back to the edge of the trunk and you'll have a good start.

Definitely a nice ride with the rims and the hood decals. Not a fan of the side stripes, lil pony on the door handles, front and rear window stickers and the Ford Racing stickers. My main reasoning is that our cars stand out as an american icon, 99% of the people in this country know its a Ford and a mustang, no need for additional pony stickers. Also, I bought my '02 GT used. Its was owned by a girl for 4 years before that. She put lil running pony stickers all over it. They were on the door handles, under each "GT" emblem, on the head lights, taillights and finally, she had a silhouette of a running pony on the rear window so when the light shined through it, the interior was bathed in a huge pony shadow. It took me hours to scape all that crap off and whenever I see them on a car now, I always think, either a chick or flaming douche bag is driving it. The GT cut outs on the hood look cool though.

Another thing about the Ford Racing sticker. If I was a thief and saw 2 mustangs sitting next to each other and one of them had that sticker, which one do you think I would break into and try to steal to sell for parts?

Well, in conclusion, you do have a nice ride. Get rid of the ponies, paint the rear bumper cut-out black instead, loose the Saleen sticker, get some springs, relocate the the wing and you'll have a wicked looking ride.

A little update:
The car is doing donuts in the gravel pit because the tires were put on less than 1000 miles before I did them, and I'd like to keep some rubber on them. I put Saleen on the front because it is my goal to add a S/C to it, and it looks good with the contrast I think. The mods are as follows:
CAI, Mac Catback Sys, Mac Prochamber Midpipe, U/D Pullies, SCT Livewire tuner, TB/Plenum/Spacer, MAF. The dyno recorded my car at 393Hp/388Tq. So burnout/donuts are easily done on pavement, but I wanted to save some tread. As for the damage, there was little to none, mostly just dust settling into the water beads on the car, and a lot of filth throughout the engine bay. No paint chips or exhaust dings. Also, why I designated my car as being a 00 GT Sct is because saying that I drive a Mustang GT, most people think 260hp. Maybe he has done a little work so up to 300hp. But by saying Sct afterwards, people take me a little more seriously. After all, I have nearly 400hp to the wheels, and Its not S/C or NOS injected. I realize that I may have went a little over the top on the black stickers, but I think that it looks nice, and I am an enormous fan of color contrast on a car. Hope this clears a few things up. -Kirk

I took it to a place called ASAP Mustangs in Pittsburgh 2 1/2 weeks ago, they have cobras, mach, and the occasional shelby sitting there. I trusted their dyno more than anywhere else, but I can see your point. I may have to take it elsewhere. They have have programmed it +30 to +50hp to make their customers happier. I know I sure was.

wow! dude you must be high on something to actually think your car has that much hp with basic bolt on stuff. As for appearance it doesn't look too bad, maybe get rid of the side stripes and i think it would look pretty good, but aye it's your ride, if your happy, then whatever.

Gotta throw the flags on that statement !! Unless you have a video of that dyno run showing your car and the dyno's hp monitor all in the same shot, you'll get flamed from now 'til hell freezes over. There's just no way a n/a 4.6L 2v with the mods you listed is putting 300 to the ground, let alone 393. I can see maybe 260ish, but thats it. Throw a 150 shot of N2O and if your car doesn't blow up, yeah, 380-390 on a good day. If thats what they told you, their full of $hit and I wouldn't do business with them ever again. I hope you didn't pay them alot.

CAI - 3-5 hp
Prochamber - 10ish
U/D - 5ish
TB/Plenum - 10ish
SCT tune and mods - 30ish = 255 rwhp / 280 rwtq - That I would find more believable.

I think they made the mistake of giving you a cobra dynosheet instead of your actual dyno sheet. Post a pic of your dynosheet in the dyno section.

come on guys.. you all know each sticker is worth 5-7 rwhp. so with all the seizure inducing **** all over his car he must be under rating it. that thing must put down 600-700 rwhp

this is a prochamber: http://www.macperformance.com/store/...Product_ID=237

i think it just balances out the exhaust flow and creates a better flow; not real sure though.

Correct, its not and X, its not really an H, its like a chambered muffler between. (one would imagine with no sound deadening material though)

You know if a lot of the new people that join this boards actually had some intelligence, we wouldn't have to run them all off. I don't know how many new people I've seen lately that don't post anymore because they were idiots that got bashed.

Exactly... Maybe there is a reason they aren't already a member
Maybe... everyone outside of mustangboards is completely retarded.
Or, everyone on mustangboard's has a slow mustang with "real" hp numbers
all of us

You are a complete retard....I would give give you 250rwhp with those mods, maybe. By the way your car is more like 230ish rwhp stock, not 260. Also if you have 300rwhp on a n/a 2v gt people already are taking you pretty seriously. The only way to do that though is to have full bolt ons + a pretty big cam + a good tune and that might not even get you all the way there. I dont even think 391 rwhp is not even possible on your block, it wont hold that hp it would be all over the road or just waiting to blow. lieing
