Thanks yeah I forgot about the things that stand out. Took her to my first show this PM. Came across a lot of ideas to help with the motor. Think I am going to get a K&N CAI and some coated headers by fall. May do more but my wife makes me take things slowly. As with a lot of us husbands we here you know we can't afford it.

Don't rush into things or you might do things you later regret. There are good places to get advice and bad. For example.....headers are pretty much a waste of time unless you plan on adding some serious hp down the road. LOTS or work to add long tube headers and you only net a few hp PLUS you need to get a chip and a tune. The simpler header to install (short tubes) are useless all together unless you have a turbo or super charger.

So, what are your plans?

The mods that work the best and net the best results are to replace the mid pipe with an x-pipe and swap gears in the rear (4.10's/3.73's). Intake mods are also pretty decent.

Have not totally made up my mind definitely as to my plans. Was thinking that the headers would help out the sound with the Magna Flows. Had not thought of rear end gears but may check into that. I definitely want to get a CAI as it is a fairly inexpensive way to add an additional 8-10 HP.

nice ride welcome

CAI grossly over exaggerate HP gains. If you want sound get the catback 1st then decide if you need it louder next midpipe lastly headers. I would get midpipe, catback and gears as fist mods.
