Hmm..I thought this was a Mustang forum, where people could stop by, talk about and enjoy all makes, years, models and styles of the pony car. Obviously not everyone is going to have the same tastes or like the same things. Granted he asked for us to look at his ride and let him know what we thought, but some of you are just down right insulting and rude. Once in awhile you will get a member that is just difficult to deal with or almost never has anything nice to say, but when it comes from an admin no less, then something is definitely wrong here. Looks more like a bash party in some of the threads on here.
I realize that this "may" be a small and isolated situation at times and possibly not a true representation of this forum overall based against the majority of threads, subjects and comments on here, but I have been on this board for a very short time and have run into this attitude in almost every thread I have been in so far, so my impression seems to be that this is pretty common.
I am a member on a variety of forums and own and have owned over the many years quite a variety of different cars. Sadly I have seen this type of attitude all too often before on different forums. Yes it's the internet, and yes at times you need to have thick skin... but still, it's always nice to be able to proudly show off what you have and get good and bad criticism, but certainly not eaten alive. Criticism does not automatically mean insults and bashing though. Criticism should be done honestly but also with respect to the other member(s). It is the internet but with that comes many choices too.
Who knows, maybe this isn't the place for some Mustang owners trying to show and talk about their pride and joy on here. There are certainly enough Mustang forums around on the net that I am sure if some of us decide to, we can find a different one that on a more regular basis is a bit more friendly.
Again, this is just my opinion which is based on what I have seen on here since I joined.
Sorry, didn't mean to get all preachy here. Not aimed at everyone of course, but I had hoped that a place like this which is made up of owners or fans of Mustangs, one would find a few more intelligent and respectful people than what appears to post here on a regular basis.

well stated. Some members here are just rude and ignorant. There are lots that seem to be good people also though. There are some administrators that give a very bad reputation to this board.

This forum is comprised mainly of members that like performance over looks...and when it comes to looks...most of us like the traditional style.

This dudes car is the epitome of a ruined riced out Mustang. A mustang just wasn't meant to be hacked on like that. It looks bad...plain and simple. and yeah its always just ppl's opinions.

He asked what we thought and we told him.

it is what it is.
well put...

if you all dont like it...GTFO

mustangs are not meant to look like that!

i like the car... it looks like it performs pretty good... there are a coupla points i didnt like...the wheels arent too high on my list...i dont think they look quite right that far in the fender well...and i'm not a huge fan of the color scheme...if it were black with red flames...its hard to go wrong there man...but white on purple? there...i gave my opinion like you asked..if you paint it black with red flames and get some decent deep dish wheels...id give it 2 thumbs up bro

true, however this a prime example of why this board loses members and (dare I say) boring at times. I understang your thinking, but I just think we should have more diversity with our members and cars. The car can be fixed with different paint and wheels. I have seen more than a few nice looking sn95 cars with that same body kit installed. We should help him work with what he has so it doesnt forever stay another "riced out mustang".

Did anyone else notice that in the guy's signature it says the car has 400hp and runs 10 sec. Am I missing some of the pictures or how is this possible ?? I know the paint adds at least 40HP but I cant really see where the rest is.

Hes got altezzas. Those have gotta be worth at least a 2s drop and .5 off your 60' in the 1/4. It might be on air bags too.
