What a good opportunity to take some pics. I also cleaned my car for the first time in about a year, so she's actually looking pretty good.
Tell me what you guys think. They had to be resized to make them fit, but full size they look incredible.

#31 is a great shot. How big a file do you have of that one?
I can make a kick ass poster of it for you.

Dean I have that picture pretty F'n big. When I bring it up in it's full size it won't fit on my 17" wide screen monitor. I'll E-mail you a few full size shots, see what you can do.

Real nice what suspension setup do you have in the rear?

My entire set up is in that link in my sig.

My rear suspension is: X2C boxer upper and lowers, Eibach Sportline springs, Lakewood 50/50 Drag shocks and 315/50-15 BFG Drag Radials. I'll be going to the track for the first time with this set up on Friday night, so I'll let you know how it works out. Probably won't really launch too hard since my rear is stock and the axle tubes aren't welded yet, but I should be able to get a few low 11 second passes out of it.

Before it goes boom, lol.

You can't take the car to the track...it's all clean...you'd get burnt rubber everywhere. :D

Shoulda got a black one...they're the best anyways :thefinger

J/K man...looks great...I love the rims.

PistolWhip 04-14-2005 05:06 PM

Yeah, it's gonna be tuff getting it all covered in balck crap, but it'll be worth it if I can get it to do what I built it to do. A whole winter of building, spending, modding, spending some more and then spending a little more all comes down to this day. Hmmmm, I think I may be getting cold feet.

Blue02GT 04-14-2005 06:07 PM

Don't chicken out, I abuse my poor car every week at the track. It's always covered with rubber and VHT on the back.

Thanx allot for the peer pressure you homo, I broke an axle. You happy now :thefinger:

Anyway, I never posted a good pic of my engine, so here it is.

Yeah so did Dean and Matt (Flo Bee). Bastages! I haven't even touched the rear yet. Work has been crazy.

venom 04-21-2005 08:15 PM

How do you keep it that clean?

Samsstang 04-22-2005 10:09 AM

Damn sorry to here about the axles! Still is a sweet lookin car and it has a bad ass stance :icon_thum

Blue02GT 04-22-2005 05:08 PM

I told you to race it not blow it up dumbass.
Go ahead and launch it at 6k you know you want to, all the other guy's do it. Drag racing peer pressure it's hard to deal with.

I just keep breaking it. :evil6: The more it sits, the less likely it is to get dirty. :glasses10
Seriously, I'm a bit on the obsesive side. Everytime I wash it, I clean the engine and pollish all the aluminum.

You can get help for that.

Yeah it's called a set of FRPP 31 spline axles and a Trac Loc from the old Liberty Ford.
Oh were you talking about the obsesive problem. :hippy2:

my2001GT 04-30-2005 08:14 PM

Hey dude... Met you over on modulardepot... Didn't know you're in here too....

Pink??? That's red and it has a devil on it. Only straight men have devils on their batteries. :thefinger

I got the rear fixed and I'm going in for round 2 on Tuesday night. Who's in???

Anyway, here is the actual carnage. It wasn't a broken axle like I thought, it was shredded spyder gears.

Lances03SVT 05-07-2005 07:14 AM

Those wheels makes it look very Badass :notworthy

No it is called 33 splines and a spool!

PistolWhip 05-08-2005 01:47 PM

Yeah I ended up going with the Detroit TrueTrac instead of a spool or the Trac Loc. I must say that so far I am very impressed.

raindamier 05-08-2005 02:02 PM
