My little girl kicked ass this weekend!!!!
 

She had her 2nd karate competition this weekend, competed in forms, board breaking and sparring.........and SHE GOT 1st PLACE IN ALL 3. And to make it even better, the girl she was competing against was a higher rank!!!!

And she is only 6!!!

That's cool man i have a 2yr old son. I would love for him to do Karate. Do you know how old you have to be to start?

What style is she takeing, from the gi I would asume Tae Kwan-do. I remember when I use to compete it was very fun, especialy sparing. I started when I was 4 and my brother started when he was 6, we took a style of karate called Wado-Ryu.

In her class they start at 5 I think? I think that's where most classes start.

Awesome!!! Good for her...that stuff teaches great ideals and discipline.

I did Soo Bahk Do for 5 years and then Jiu Jitsu for 5 years. stopped all of that stuff a few years ago....but what a great tool it is to have!!

I took karate for 3 years and they wouldn't let me get my black belt because I couldn't complete one kick finally I just said forget this place.

now a couple years later i hate myself for even taking it because i have literally no cartilage in my knees and they grind and pop constantly.

What kick was this, and I know what you mean about the cartilage, I can pop a **** load of bones thanks to karate, it's kinda cool though. I can make a fist and crack all my knuckles like bruce lee, it freaks some people out.

That's bad. Your little girl whooped that ass. Though I never took karate, think it's pretty cool. I was always in boxing classes....rather than ^^^.
