sweet...me and my friends installed some springs on a friends honda civic so if it is the same basic concepts it is really easy to do.

Anyway, those instruction were awesome, made the install very simple. You'll wonder why most shops charge so much after you install them your self.

DarkSith 07-13-2006 08:59 AM

Oh, yeah whats the part # on those, they look just like the SS springs.

TClark22 07-13-2006 09:38 AM

well...the rears are in...and let me tell you...HAVE ANOTHER MAN WITH YOU TO DO A SPRING INSTALL!!! getting the new springs in by urself is harder but the spring install itself my little bro could have done...if he had muscles:shifty: ...it was a piece of cake for the rear...

lol it has been an hour since i started and look at me...and the temp...so i stopped to come in a drink gallons o' water and get a bite to eat

http://img278.imageshack.us/img278/8...2medium2md.jpg

this is was 215lbs of man sweats like after an hour or so in 100+ degree weather in my garage with a big fan blowing on me!! and yes there is a circle where the sweat did not reach inbetween my...you know

http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/1...4medium4ux.jpg

well it is wierd to have a rear lower than my front!

http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/6...1medium8sv.jpg

i will get more pics when i am done!!

DarkSith 07-13-2006 09:45 AM

I'll check in a bit, but I would find someone to help with the front, not required but would make the reinstall alot easier.

DarkSith 07-13-2006 09:54 AM

Here's the drop I got, so far. They've been on a few days.

Those things gave me hell to, thats the only reason it took me 2hrs for the front. What I did was lay under the car door, put my foot on the brake caliper, and push with my foot while I was pulling on the ratchet.

TClark22 07-13-2006 10:44 AM

i cant quite get under it like that...its in a wierd position

well i guess i can go give it hell...

and where is the abs sensor?

darksith u have an aim so i can talk to u?

DarkSith 07-13-2006 10:52 AM

No, I don't have aim, or any messenger for that matter. Hold on a sec and I'll get some pics of the abs sensor, and as for the caliper bolts, maybe you have a small pull handle or something to make it easier.

DarkSith 07-13-2006 10:56 AM

Here the abs sensor, you have to unclip it after you unbolt it.

TClark22 07-13-2006 11:04 AM

the damn caliper bolts are not coming off...i have tried so damn hard

is it possible for me to do it without pullin the caliper off?

DarkSith 07-13-2006 11:15 AM

Yeah it's possible, but puts alot of strain on your brake lines, and make it harder to get the new springs in. Just jack your car up some more and try, what I did.

2000novigt 07-13-2006 11:24 AM

looks great so far, now get those calipers off!!!!!!!!

TClark22 07-13-2006 11:35 AM

alright bolts off...now i cant get the abs line off...is it a must get off?

DarkSith 07-13-2006 11:41 AM

Yeah take it off and tuck it somewhere, then have fun hammering the tire rod out. To make it real easy to get the new spring in, just have you or your brother pull down on the strut to lower the control arm, while the other puts the spring in.

TClark22 07-13-2006 12:34 PM

alright...1st front spring in...finally but i had to take a break because its way to damn hot out...when i cool down the last spring will be put in

but right now the front does not look any lower for some reason...and i left the bottom isolator out
