My new drift project car
 

So here is my 93' 240SX SE with 119k on it. Currently it don't run but my dad is gonna fix it and said its an easy fix. It was left in a driveway for six months because the owner had some more inportant things come up and he had no time to get it fixed. So heres the kicker, I only paid 500bux for it WOOHOO :punk:

So here are the pics. On the first pic it show 6 months worth of dirt on it. What really sucks is that as soon as I finished washing it, it started downpouring rain but it needed a good cleaning anyway. The only thing that sucks is that there is a few rust spots here and there and a big rust hole on the hatch but that is really common with the hatchs that have the gay azz rubber spoiler.

Hell yes. SR20DET baby. Dont fix the motor in it, buy a SR.

nice project, lighten that baby up, slap some suspension mods on (read: alot) and in time, we'll have some sweet drift vids lol ^_^

awesome...that would be a sweet prject. buy some "Motegi Touge" rims...theyre specially designed for drifting. thats why i got em, lol

I did consider that but why not just fix it. No use in replasing whats not badly broken. The car will be up and running in a few days and I'll see about posting some vids. Need to find someone with a camera first.

Careful with that thing...I had a '91 coupe 240SX and it blew the head gasket at 60k miles and I NEVER beat that car...it was a big POS IMO. At least it isnt your DD.

I hate to say it, but the man is right. :punk: Well, that would be the beater. I do have the hots for a Camaro SS, but thats too expensive. And I love this damn mustang too much to part with it.

my girlfriends dad has a camaro SS... 2002, dark blue alot like mine, convertible.
ive driven in it, he 'pusseyfoots' it bad though, it has like... 6k miles on it, and i dont like the interior, even a little bit.

Nice project! Save up and skip doing a common sr20 swap, just do rb25 or rb26 in it. You wont be disappointed with either one considering they are both skyline engines and an easy swap.

BTW is it the ka24 in it right now?

Besides, it's fun man. I'm gonna be out there when the 3rd hits theatres so I can laugh at the ricers feeling the parking lot up. I got a few people going, it's gonna be sweet.

Ya I'm gonna go see ff3 when it comes out I just wish I could take the 240 but I still need to plate it and insure it. So all together it will be a driver next week sometime.

so basically not the first two movies
The main cars were overdone with vinyls and crazy paint, whereas the new one, the ars are better. the 350z is black with black, the mustang is... debatable, etc.
sadly i cant go opening night to see all the ricers, have my prom, even though i will have been graduated for 9 days

LOL NOTHING in ANY of the fast and furious movies relates to what im talking about. Those were the worst. However, the Charger does make me excited.
