new paint, what would you do?

Hello,

I would like some suggestions or advice on re-painting my car. Thanks to hurricane Willma and my insurance company I have the oppertunity to have my car re-painted. The current paint job is one year old. See picture below. I'm sticking with the green, it's the factory color satin green something or other (paint code FU). I've had some nice compliments about my current paint job. It was painted by professional seasoned veterans of the autobody industry, and my good friends. I want to keep the flames but was wondering what people think about my current colors. I was going for subliminal, sparkly flames the first time around. This time I din't know, I have the freedom to change it but it looks OK to me how it is. I do intend to put the black angel eye headlights on from MT. I was thinking the green could be deeper and darker. My body man said tell me what you want and I'll do it. What would you do?

regards,

Erik

Maybe go a bit darker on the paint just so it doesn't look so factory or maybe a different pearl added to it. If you do flames again, I would like to see more than just coming off the wheels like maybe on the hood also. Some very light silver flames would look nice IMO.

They quoted me and it was higher than expected for all the work. I might have to do some of the work myself or find some where else as thats enough for a nice blender KB 2.2L. They are real nice at that shop.

I like it personally, I would go a little lighter on the flames or darker on the actual paint. Just because after all that money, I would want the flames to stick out somewhat, but not like a sore thumb.

BTW, how much did it cost you to do that paint job, was the entire car painted when u did the flames?

paint

The original paint job cost $3500.00. I had the entire car re-painted and added the flames. Thanks for your comments.

Erik

1pc black projectors own:D. You need to do some pearlescent blue flames with a little bit of silver flake in the clear.
