Dash/Trim pieces

I bought an '02 mustang a few weeks ago with just a few cosmetic flaws, one of them being on the interior. The previous owner painted parts of the trim to match the outside of the car, but used spray paint (ugh). so its obviously in bad shape asthetically. ive looked around and seen the adhesive pieces you can put over the trim, but im not sure that would work as some of the trim is not completely smooth in some places due to the paint bubbling and damage to the trim.

are there any good sources for actual replacement of the trim pieces for around the radio/shifter/air vents(the ones on top of the dash)/door handles?
thanks!

well all I have access to here is genuine Ford parts. let me know what you need along wth the vin # and I'll get you some prices

doobie 09-22-2006 05:47 AM

vin is 1FAFP40402F232202.
i'll need the door trim for around the power control's, the air vents for both sides (the vents the are adjustable near the doors AND the small vents that are on top of the dash), door handle surround, shifter surround, and the radio console surround. i think thats it, heres a few reference pics, basically i need to replace all trim that is currently yellow. Thanks Randy

doobie 09-22-2006 08:59 AM

Randy, can you give me a quick rundown of what each part is on the quote? gotta make sure i have all the trim pieces covered, thanks.

Randy Stinchcomb 09-22-2006 09:14 AM

ok, 1st 2 #'s were the door cup where the switches go, 3rd and 4th are the L & R outer dash registers, next was the center dash bezel wth 2 register and the last 2 items are the cups behind the inside door handles

doobie 09-22-2006 02:14 PM

Randy-
will this include the trim that goes around the lower adjustable AC vent and the whole piece to replace the yellow vent on top?
http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n...gAnch=imgAnch3

and does the center dash bezel include the part that goes around the shifter as well? thanks!

Randy Stinchcomb 09-25-2006 06:10 AM

nope, guess I missed 2

the A/C vents on the dash are $19.76 pair and the bezel for the shifter is $110.68

doobie 09-25-2006 10:23 AM

yikes, didnt think that shifter bezel would be that much. ill have to double check my financials, but the interior is definitely next on my list of things to do, thx randy

doobie 12-26-2006 07:23 PM
