ABS Sensor, Rear Axle Shaft, PLEASE!

Reference Number: Q34351

ABS Sensor for the passenger side rear axle shaft.
As cheap as you can get it, lol.

Thanks Randy!

Also, if you know....

The ABS sensor has popped off of it's location attached to the end of the axle. I checked with my local Ford Dealer, a chain brakes/transmission/general store, and my local performance shop.

No one was sure if they need to pull out the entire axle shaft or if a new one can be out on with out pulling out the shaft.

Also, since the old one has "popped" off, is it possible to put it back on???

as long as it's not broken, it should go back in-place, there is a small bolt that holds the ABS sensor in-place, maybe it's gone?

I'll need a model, make and year for pricing

whitethunder46 09-16-2006 08:38 AM

05/2001 manufacture date; Mustang GT

Could I get the price of the bolt also in case that is the problem?

Randy Stinchcomb 09-16-2006 08:52 AM

$41.64 for the sensor and $2.39 for the bolt, outta' both and @ 1/2 days toget

Hmmm... ok.. I hope we're talking about the same thing.

The local delar looked up the part and quoted me 137.41 after tax... :dunno:

well the ABS sensor I priced out is in behind the rear wheel(one on each side) is held in place wth a small 12 point screw and has a long wire that runs up under the rear seat, where it makes it connection

Well I guess it has to be it especially if it matches part numbers, thanks for the help!!

Once I find out if I need to replace it or just put it back on, I'll let you know.

Can you just type in the reference number I posted in Post 1? I thought that's what you did...

When I got it checked out to see what the problem was, they gave me this reference number.

Randy Stinchcomb 09-16-2006 11:23 AM
