Not that it matters, but no. However I have another question for you. How long is oil good for? Ive got a couple unopened bottles layin around. Im not sure exactly how long ago I got them though.

how long is oil good for:confused: hell, it's made from Dinosaurs that died 65 million years ago::p so, I think a few years on a shelf is fine:)

Does the same go for other fluids such as Coolant, tranny fluid, brake fluid, etc.?

Randy Stinchcomb 03-17-2006 06:02 AM

no, those other fluide have different change intervals(sp), coolant @ every 2 years, trans fluid on an automatic @15k to 20k and on a manual trans @20k. brake fluid, prob @50k depending on driving style. now if your towing something, change the fluids more offten

Thats for changing out the fluids. How long would those fluids be good for if they were still closed in the bottles? In other words, do they have expiration dates, like a gallon Milk for example?

Randy Stinchcomb 03-21-2006 07:11 AM

I dont think there is a "shelf-life" for oil, so Id say your fine.

I know the Bullitt alt. and GT alt. use different size pulleys, but do they use the same size belts?
