Beat Down Time For the Boys

The Pack and the Cows play next Thursday night!

Time for the Schoolmaster (Favre) to educate Tony Homo on how a real QB plays in the pro's.

Pack wins 38 - 10

Cows will be exposed again.

3.8for the win 11-22-2007 10:09 PM

lets be realistic i like both teams but im going to have to pick the packers and this is why.

1.packers have a better defense.

2.Favre is one of the best to ever play the game and he make smart plays

3. romo has not done well in big games, look what happened last year in the playoffs.

4.cowboys offense is a little better but not much, if they shut down T.O they shut down romo.

i pick the packers 35-24

White04GT 11-22-2007 11:33 PM

Are you serious? Shut down T.O and you shut down the cowboys? Are you forgetting Witten, and Crayton? not to mention we can still have the run game. With as little as the cowboys run with the combined running backs they get as little as 100yards a game. The bears beat the Packers and we killed the bears. Favre is having a good year but he needs to get out before he gets hurt. 1 good hit from Ware and he is down.

White04GT 11-22-2007 11:39 PM

And the cowboys have a way better defense. We are much bigger. The cowboys defense shuts down so many teams. I will admit our secondary isn't the greatest but still shouldn't have a problems vs the packers. The cowboys have a BAD ASS defense line. Watchout for Ware, Tank Johnson, Newman, Williams, Spears, Canty, Henry.

3.8for the win 11-23-2007 08:04 AM

you do know Crayton is hurt, and romo has sucked in big games and this is a big game. look how he did in the playoffs and look how he did when they played the pats.

all you have to do is take the weapons away from romo and he will try to hard and he will mess up.

White04GT 11-23-2007 09:39 AM

Ya Crayton and Glenn are both hurt, but we still have Witten and Owens were good. Crayton should be back for the Packers though.

White04GT 11-23-2007 09:47 AM

Our pass rush and run defense is among the best in the league though. Its our fuckin secondary. If we get to farve alot early I think we will be fine.

You are forgetting that he was a rookie! It's what they do! Rookies break under pressure and it's how from that failure under pressure and how they handle that will determine how good a player really is! To be honest I really didn't think romo would make such as bad ass comeback after last years playoff game! I have full confidence is our star quarterback and I hope he will become one of the great ones..

Romo played a good game against the pats....let's not forget that the pats are the best there is out there right now! The boys have been getting better and better with each passing week! Wether they boys win or loose don't make a difference to me! I'll always be a fan! On a side note...favre has never beaten Dallas @ home in all his nfl career...

White04GT 11-23-2007 01:04 PM

The reason the Pat's dominate everyone is because they go 5 recievers forceing the defense to play 1 on 1 and then you have star wide recievers and a bad ass QB that can hit you wherever. The Pat's have a stacked offense.

what does that have to do with anything?

the Chiefs beat the Chargers, the Chargers beat the Broncos, then the Broncos beat the Chiefs. anything can happen on any given Sunday.

The Colts beat the Broncos, then got beat by the Chargers. The Jets beat the Steelers.

just depends on who shows up for the game.

Sorry, but the Packers schedule is a lot tougher than Dallas', and I think the pack is playing better football in all areas, and they've been tested.

Dallas has been tested only once this season and they failed that test miserably (loss against Patriots). It's kind of easy to win, when you don't play anyone. Dallas is overrated.

exactly...before this year Favre had never won in Denver either, and look what happened there? Favre will get a win in Dallas next Thurs!

But if the Cowboys do win this game, then I'll buy into them being a contender for the Super Bowl this year...but if they lose against the Pack, then they're frauds, plain and simple.

I don't think anyone on here gives a crap about where you put the boys in the nfl rankings man...

PS: The boys lost to the best team out there..no shame in that...for all you cowboys haters..to what to do you attribute the packers loss to the bears...a team more mediocre than the broncos??:p:p.....

funny your team of sissies can beat up on all the chump teams in the NFL, but they can't beat a real tame. posers, fakes, frauds, and pretenders, until they beat a good team...to not include the Giants...because the Giants are not a good team.

The redskins and the cowboys is the oldest, most heated rivalry for us...records don't mean crap when the boys and the skins play...

rough day. all teams have them. but so far the only thing the heifers have proven to me is they can't knock the big dog off the throne.

Green Bay on the other hand has had a little bit tougher of a schedule than Dallas. going to Denver, SD, and KC and winning all is not an easy task.

gb has had a somewhat tougher schedule than Dallas is what i meant to say

Yea bad day against the bears, the packers beat themselves that game.

I think it will be an interesting game to watch and I can't wait. The packers do have a LOT of injuries after the lions game so hopefully most of them can come back for dallas.

I am a packer fan so im hoping they win
