Posted this on 3SI b/c I am no longer own a Mustang...but will soon...
Never go where I went to buy anything. They are by far the worst people to deal with and I've delt with some doozies. They lied to me more than once, a lot more than once in fact. Short version: Decided to get a new/newish DD, saw a 2004 Mustang GT 40th An Ed in there lot. Went in and talked for hours to the guys trying to get it to a price I could handle, "got" a pretty good deal, called in the next mourning they said it was just like when I left the night before, came in to sign the paper work, price changed but over 4 grand and it went to 72 months from 60. Kept talking to them as they blaimed other people for "saying things they shouldn't" and blah blah. Said they'd give me a 8.99% interest rate to make up for in and upgrade my service packaged for free blah blah, I was still getting fucked let me remind you. But I eventually said yes b/c that car was SWEET. Drove it home, woke up noticed the rock chips in the window, swore for a while but kept driving it, woke up the next day and got a call saying I'm sorry but we can't get you the interest rate you "wanted" which only meant about another $3000. I told him can't do it I'm bringing it back, get there and they kept saying we can't believe you're bringing it back, nobody's ever done that before. Now at this point I'm so pissed I'm smiling b/c they keep saying it's such a good deal when it's around 7 or 8 grand more than the first deal. There's a lot more to the story but I'm going to just say Acura of Peoria is aweful and if you go there you will get screwed over. I'm just happy they are out all the costs, I'm hoping they lose at least a grand or 2.
