Newbie needing advice

My name is Daniel and i drive a Red '96 V6 Mustang(standard). In the up coming week i'll be getting a 4.6 Cobra Engine installed in my car. If any one has any tips, suggestions, i would really appreciate

Dont put any GT badges, or cobra badges on it. put some real quiet mufflers. all your friends who thing you still have a 6 will be scared when they see you on the highway, lol.

if they really know what to listen for they will.

Any ricer with a fart pipe isn't going to even be able to hear your car if you keep it quiet. All they'll see is your taillights.

yeah, exactly. they have to know what to listen for to identify whats in your car. like you can tell a chevy from a ford when you hear racing in the distance...at least i can. but you can also buy some exhaust cut outs. put some quiet mufflers and then if you want the loudness, loosen a couple screws (while the pipes are cold) and you will have open exhaust. theres some cutouts i have seen that will switch to open electrically. would be a nice little surprise to do to someone at the line. I might do that with my stang.

youll want to switch over to an 8.8 rear end so you dont have a one wheel wonder machine. Plus, it will be stronger.
