gears?
is there any way i can tell what gears i have without tearing anything apart, i never really monitored my rpm's at a maintained speed but i think im at like 2400-2600 at 70mph. and i figured they were stock 3:27

That will work only if the speedo was properly calibrated if a gear swap was made.
One way to know for sure, is to jack up the rear. Then, rotate the rear axle and count the number of revolutions that you can rotate the rear for each revolution of the drive shaft. If you have 3.73's, the ratio between the two will be 3.73 to one. You will need to mark the axle to determine your starting point. |
