What else would i need to get into 12's?

Just curious.

Right now i got Catback, Intake, and Diablow tuner. GT, Auto.

I have 4:10s that im waiting to install.

If i get a Venom VCN-1000, blow a hundred shot with good tires to hook, Would i be able to dip into the land of 12's at 5,600ft elevation?

If not, What else should i look into in order to achieve this?

It is my understanding that a good driver in a GT can hit high 13's. 4:10's can shave 1/2 second off yer 1/4mile, think that plus a hundo-shot would do it?

TRACTION :punk: The first 60' determines your E.T. :)

So some real good wheels?
People say with a S/C that it is hard to hook with 4:10's. I;d imagine the same could apply with nitrous, except yer not spraying off the line.

I launch on a 150 shot at 5000 rpm on drag radials ....best 60' = 1.58, so usually I'm already out front. Leaves a lot of LS-1 drivers shaking their heads

Converter, shift kit, frame connectors, control arms

with the nitrous you've got plenty of power to get 12's (your altitude will make it harder though). The secret is going to be getting all the power to the ground. A good drag launch setup, skinnies on the front, DR in back, pull the front swaybar, and hit every shift. Nitrous is harder than a supercharger IMO since it hits to damn hard... makes 1-2 and 2-3 gear changes an opportunity to get wheel spin.

No matter what setup you have, if you can't drive it, you'll never get good times. Practice is important.

You will need good tires as well. If you have 315's i'd swap them for some 275's on a 17x8 wheel and or get some kind of weld 15" wheels and some et streets. :devil2:
