lowering springs

I am currently driving on Kumho Ecsta MX tires (255/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear). I also have kyb agx gas shocks and struts. I would like to lower my 97 gt just a little bit for some better handeling and better looks. Would i be able to go with the eibach pro kit without having any rub?? also, would i need to purchase anything else or would just the lowering springs be fine?? if not the pro kit, what other springs would you guys recommend?? thanks

also keep in mind i have longtube headers!!!

Id go with h&r sports or h&r supersports. They are awesome springs. ive got the sports on mine.

Another vote for H&R's.

Any lowering spring from Steeda, Eibach, H&R, etc.. are all going to be about the same in quality. Since you have longtubes you want to stick to the upper end of the spring rate envelope to keep you from scuffing your collectors. That said, your shocks and struts aren't up to dampening that much spring. Sorry... true.

Tokico Illumina or Bilsteins from an 03-04 cobra are a good idea to keep you from tearing up your shocks/struts. I'd say either C springs or the ProKit or H&R Race springs. Your ride will suffer significantly.

You can use less stiff springs but you'll want to use Poly Urethane isolators on top and bottom to keep the ride height up just a tad.
