slp and prochamber??

today i installed my slp loudmouth catback on my near-bone stock 02 gt. i was suprisingly impressed with how nice it sounded...and loud!! as i drove my car for the day (burned out and fishtailed a bit) i became used to the volume pretty quickly. i can instal a prochamber catted X on my catback slp right??
-i guess i need the car even louder...

Yes but I would go o/r if you get a prochamber.

stevestang81 10-23-2005 07:36 PM

well, i;d like to but with no cats i could get slammed with a hefty fine...no?

Depends on where your from and if you have testing or not.

stevestang81 10-23-2005 07:41 PM

from CT and we do have testing...sucks. is there really a big difference though?

The catted prochamber is not much louder than the stock H from what I've heard.I'd either go SLP or Magnaflow.Since you already have the SLP loudmouth I'd say get the SLP catted X and the race pipes and switch them out for testing.

The slp catted x will definately make it louder.

I have the o/r prochamber with loudmouths. Got a vid of me doing a burnout :D , so you'll get an idea of what it sounds like.
Burn out

I need a video of you just revving it and driving it normally swervo, Im thinking of going back to a loud exhaust, and slp is one of my options. Thanks.

No problem. Buddy of mine is editing the vid that we made so should have it later on today or tomorrow.

I have an SLP loudmouth II exxhaust with SLP catted x-pipe and i LOVE it. I do also have the SLP longtubes, so I'm sure that helps with the noise a little :D It's not to bad at idle, not to loud at all, which I love, but as soon as I punch it, the sound just comes alive.
