275/40/18 would be your best bet.

Thats funny rotate and 18" wheels in the same sentence. You will be hard pressed to find a car with the ability to rotate tires with a 18in wheel. Whats going to happen is one of two things since the offset has to be the same. The front wheel with stick out more than the rear or the rear wheels stick in so much you are going to have a Pigeon butt.

Offsets any wheel we have in 18 will work to rotate, but your not going to line up with your fenderwell in the rear.

so moral of the story get 17 x 9s in front and 17 X 10.5s in the back, your rotation problem is solved, and you will look like a real muscle car heres a pic with a 17 X 10.5 inch wheel in the back :)

ok so if i go with 10.5s in the back what size for the rear tire......also didn't the 00 R have 9.5s all the way around....seems like i remember those filling the fenders out all the way around......or did they have a different offset on the rears...

Just get some H&R wheel spacers for the rear, about 35mm and your wheels will fill up the rear.I had them on mine with 99 Cobra wheels and it looked perfect. And like Matt said 275/40/18's would be the best.

I have 18x9 fr500 with 275/35r18 all around...they spin and I get no traction at the track...I wish I would have gone 17x9 in front and 17x10.5 in the rear

So remind me how this solves the rotation problem again?
