oil pressure on a 4.6
Just recently I have had a loss of oil pressure when car first starts up. It goes from 0- to normal. It will drop to 0 then go to normal then drop again and kepp doing until warmed up

Are these readings coming from the cluster gauge? If so I wouldnt use that as a reference.
The sensor for that gauge is probably going bad and sending a bad signal to the cluster. To be sure your pressure is good buy a cheap mechanical gauge and hook it up to verify oil pressure. I am fairly certain that if the car dropped to 0 psi a few times a day you would eventually get a nice knocking sound coming out of your motor. |

Thank you was thinking the same and wanted to see if this
Was a common problem. It was off gauge and no knocking. Had a clutch Put in recently and since then have seen this also thinking guy who put In clutch might have bumped wire |
