intake leak

I had thought i had an intake gasket leak so I replaced the intake and the intake gaskets actually. I replaced the intake and the gaskets and now have a leak near the drivers side rear of the motor like near the very last bolt for the intake on that side of the motor. the leak is between the gasket and the intake NOT the gasket and the motor. ANY IDEAS?

Did your intake manifold ever crack and leak? is it the stock non metal coolant crossover.

tell you the whole story- i thought i had an intake issue so I replaced the intake and gaskets with the newer style intake with the metal crossover. Still had a leak in the same spot so I went back to my old intake with again another new set of intake gaskets and still have a leak in the same spot- its a slow leak and it nearly stops when the thermostat opens up. its leaking between the gasket and the intake on both intakes. Im wondering if I have an issue with my head?

Wait, is this a vacuum leak or a coolant leak?

Coolant

I would get another set of gaskets and use the new intake and tourqe it down to spec. I don't know if your doing it the way you are supposed to or not.

gaskets...

torque sequence may be part of the issue, but also check to make sure you have the gaskets on the right side. They are side specific. If all else fails, use some rtv also. I had to do this with my crap ass adapter plates for the 5.4 swap after numerous R&Rs of the intake manifold, trying to get it to seal right.
