4v Heads on a 2v motor?

Ok, so i have a chance to get a set of 4v heads for pretty cheap. My question is, will they bolt straight on to the Bullitt 2v motor (the bullitts have a different intake and manifold than the GT) and if not, what else do i have to change to make them work?

the 4v heads will work with your block, but you'll need the proper intake depending of which 4v heads you got...

i absolutely can't claim any expertise here but some things i'm pretty sure you'll need are:

valve covers, front cover, full timing chain set with sprockets and tensioners, 4v computer and harness, intake manifold and maybe entire air inlet including maf and TB

good luck with it:)

for the experts here--please feel free to add or correct me if i got it wrong

I mean yeah, i knew i would need some other things along with the heads. I guess my main question was would they just bolt up to my block... Thanks guys :)

Then the main answer is... yes.

You can use the GT computer if you don't use the knock sensors they have. But yes they do bolt onto the 2v short block.

Thats pretty nice. I did not know this. More justifying to 4.6 swap. with 4v for cheap.

You have a lot of projects going on huh?

Nitrous, 4v head swap. I thought I was bad lol.

Keep us updated on this one will you, my roommate was interested in this as well. We just wanted to see how well it go with the basic mods to get it on there.

Awesome! LOL yeah, when i get it in my head to put some money in my car, i go all out for a while. Yeah im most definitely gonna get that nitrous kit, and 4.10's will be in prolly inna couple weeks. I gotta see if the guy still has the heads tho.

The compression will be down pretty low... like turd on the street low. I would recommend some pistons from a cobra short block or something aftermarket to get the compression back up. Youll need an intake and timing cover. you can use your factory computer but you may have to extend a few wires.
