Long tubes and cat back first, then a tune. IMO

Well, I don't know what laws in Indiana are, but here in Colorado it is the sellers responsibility to get the car to pass emissions. So what I would do is check your state's emissions website and see if the same laws apply there as they do here. If that's the case, remind the seller of the vehicle that it is their responsibility to do whatever is necessary to get that vehicle to pass emissions before being officially sold - including paying your emissions fee.

gears
LT's short shifter along with a tune would be a good start |

I actually live in Colorado now! Just moved to Longmont, and went through 800$ trying to get my GT to pass... So if I buy a Mach 1 from somebody they have to make sure its going pass, then I have to avoid mods that will make it fail. What do you have on yours in terms of exhaust?

|
It's alright. And all of that compared to stock? I don't know, it came with the car. I'd much rather have a Bassani setup, but can't afford it. And yeah, the place right next to the airport. I'm right over by McIntosh Lake, so it's nice and close. But if you ever see a yellow Mach around, that's me.
|
What all does the Bassani setup include? I dont see it on American Muscle... lol if you ever see the white 94 GT, thats me. But as you can probably tell im lookin for a Mach 1, so if you know of any let me know if you see any!

Here. As for Machs for sale, I don't know of any...but the owner of Colorado Stangs is selling his '99 Cobra. Just incase that link doesn't work: it's a '99 Cobra (duh), Black, really well taken care of...here is the site devoted just to that car - http://www.99cobra.com/
|
I was thinkin about a cobra, but I fell in love with the Mach 1!!! I have to have one!!! Thanks for the link though. That is a very nice cobra indeed! Thanks for all your help, and if you ever wanna hang out or something that would be great cause im still new here and dont really know any one...(im not a creeper lol) Not sure if you play any poker but im lookin for some people to play with.

First mod should be a supercharger. Then after you've crashed it a few times, upgrade the brakes ;)

If I had one I would make it breath better and change the rear gears out to at-least 4.10 gears, with 4.30's being better if your staying n/a.

ive bought and sold plenty of cars here. That is the first time ive ever heared that. in fact, wanna buy a 2002 Saturn SL2? it has an extra set of tires, 146k on the odo, and is in fanastic condition. lol |
In Illinois it isn't the sellers responsibility to make the car pass. You can sell it as-is, as long as you notify the buyer of the vehicles condition. After that it's their problem.

i dunno what he is smoking? |
In the state of Colorado it is the seller's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle in question passes emissions after a sale. So if a car is sold, and the buyer goes to get the emissions done on it and it fails it is the sellers problem to fix. I was wrong when I said "including paying your emissions fee". So with that last sentence just change "before" to after, and "including" to excluding. lol...I swear being exposed to so many raw gases starts to mess with you for after awhile.

yeah private i know dealers have to have thier shit right on the emissions before they sell the car. I just bought the wife a jeep grand cherokee and they gave us an emissions coupon and advised to get it done in 3 days, which we did. |
