Plenum and Throttle Body HELP!!

I just installed a C&L plenum and a BBK 75MM throttle body on my 2000 GT. Now it will not idle, I tried to adjust the screw on the throttle body but it still won't idle....The only thing I can see is the cable seems to be loose but it appears to be in correctly....Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Scott

you have an air leak most likely...check your work from a to z...make sure everything is tight. Other than that, you might need a tune...but I havent heard of 99-04 stangs needing a tune for a TB and plenum.

Agree with Zig, should be cut and dry. Check IAC conection, vaccum lines, the BBK should have been set from BBK.

this really sounds like a vacuum hose from the intake to the Throttle body. i missed that hose when i reinstalled everything, and my car didn't idle. plugged it in, car worked just fine.

If everything is hooked up correctly, check the TPS voltage, and make sure its where it should be, and you probably need to set the screw back to where it was. Then disconnect the battery long enough to reset the computer, then it will have to learn how to idle again.

TPS voltage should be around .98 volts, FYI.

reset the idle adjust screw back to where it was.

make sure your MAF is plugged in and make sure all of your connections are secure.

make sure all of your vacuum lines are plugged in..

pretty much do what was said above.
