Tuner after affect
 

Hey you guys. Just curious did you guys feel a change when you did your tunes with a handheld flash tuner and what do you think your gains were? Just trying to get the gist of things before I purchase my X-cal 2 this monday for my birthday.

I have an SCT 4 position chip. So, I am in an unique position, because I change change tunes on the fly. I have three custom tunes. One is with stock timing, one with timing advanced, and one for nitrous.

I can definately tell the difference. I have had a friend switch the tunes on me and I can tell which tune the car is in w/o looking. I get it right every, single time.

I also have nitrous, and I can tell you than the difference is less noticeable than when running with a very small shot (say 25). So, don't expect an extreme difference. It "feels" like 10 - 15 hp.
