Difference with march 4.6L pulleys?
Are these any better/worse than MT's steeda underdrive pulleys? They cost less, but is it just bc its not steeda, or do they not give the 8-10 hp that steeda claims? A little insight would be helpful

I've always heard that the March pullies piggyback and you DON'T want that :nono:

I think March makes both both styles, but I think they non-piggyback style cost just as much as steeda.

I installed the steeda pulleys,I never dyno tested before and after install but the seat of pants feels like 5-10 horsepower. The steeda pulleys came with great instructions and all necessary bolts and had a beautiful stock looking black durable finish. The first thing I noticed after the install was the power steering is much stiffer at idle and low rpm,s now. I believe the steel material that steeda uses will far outlast a hardened aluminum alloy that March uses.

1st of all if your gonna get a supercharger, dont waist your money on the u/d pulleys Now.But if you must get them , then get the steeda ones. Thats the only way to go believe me. i have them and I'm happy with them. No problems so far

Do any of the pullies really make any difference or is it all looks?

because they change the rate at which the belt and acsessory move at (rpm wise) so when you add a blower you need stock pulleys so you get the correct boost. other wise it will be i would imagine alot lower boost. |
