How bout that ram air kit?

Hey guys I was looking at the new ram air kit on MT should I get it where does the scoop thingy go on the car, how much HP gain etc??

The scoop sticks out underneath the car or it might fit in the fog light opening. You will not see a gain on a dyno with them as you need to make air. You will see gains above 70 mph. They do work, but can be a problem in the rain. I have heard of 2- 3 mph gains in the 1/4. Higher powered cars will benefit more I would suspect as they go faster.

Yea, id shy away for a daily driven car. One good puddle and you hydrolock your motor...

Dont waste your money! Like someone else already said! One big puddle and kiss your motor goodbye! ;)

If you were looking at getting that ram air you should go to your local harware store and make it yourself for 15 bucks, That thing is such a waste of money.

This kit actually fits behind your honeycomb or grill delete, I believe.

If that is the case, that is a good idea. You probably can stick it anywhere.

Wow, I didnt know that. In the old magazine ads, it showed it mounted to the front bumper(where a chin spoiler would go or behind a headlight possibly)

I belive it goes under the foglight on the passenger side
