do u hear the squeek when u push down the clutch? Cause my clutch pedal squeeks a lil when i push it down..lol I have the steeda double hook quadrant...

If its the shifter then it prolly needs grease lube.....

You squeak when you shift? I dunno man, that is strange. I used to get a hardon when i shifted, but over time it stopped.
But i never squeaked. Try a Gut-Check when you shift, a good ol "Huah!!!", a little more manly than a squeak.

<rofl>

If you've got the stock shifter (near useless item in my mind), you might consider changing to a Steeda tri-ax or similar. Faster, more secure shifts, no missed gears, and probably no squeaks (well, won't promise that - have no idea why you got mice in your shifter).

If you just want to hunt down the noise, removing the stock shifter is not too hard (its what you have to do to install the new shifter, of course). There are 2 rubber boots under there, and if the inner one starts to wear, it might get pinched by the base of the shifter and make noise (and even worse shifts if it gets caught).

If your transmission is low on oil, it might make a noise like that - right before it self-destructs.

Better check it out.

I did found out...and it was coming from the clutch...whats up?

Cable or bearing

Could be your cable, the yoke where it links up to the arm, or the throw-out bearing itself (I've heard that these are weak links in our cars in general - mine rattles sometimes, and I'll be replacing it again soon - there's a heavy-duty version).

If you've already replaced your cable, quadrant and installed an adjuster (the Steeda kit works well), I'd check out the yoke/arm/bearing idea.
