definitely...only catch to it is getting the right combinations to provide the horsepower in the RPM band where you want it.

right cams, intake, and heads can net you 25+ hp

03_GT 12-13-2007 07:43 AM

Gotcha! That just might be the manifold to put on the new engine!

spike_africa 12-13-2007 08:35 AM

Its just a copy of the bullit manifold really. haven't seen any testing or numbers on it yet.

krazypony 12-13-2007 08:50 AM

thats what I was thinking, looked alot like the Bullitt setup. I always liked that intake from its stance

03_GT 12-13-2007 08:58 AM

i agree!

03gtmustang 12-13-2007 10:46 AM

It looks like the runners are designed completely different compared to a Bullitt.

i was reading this book at Barnes and Noble before thanksgiving and I think it covers the Trick Flow intake

Nofire 12-13-2007 02:35 PM

I wouldn't buy it, but that's just b/c it wouldn't fit.......

03_GT 12-13-2007 05:33 PM

What do you mean it wont fit?

he's got a 4V DOHC motor...you've got a 2V SOHC.

03_GT 12-13-2007 05:44 PM

Gotcha, its for a 2v thats why i was looking at it!

zigzagg321 12-13-2007 08:51 PM

That Trick Flow intake has been out for a while now. not worth 700+ dollars really unless you have cams, heads...blah blah...put that 700 in the S/C fund...you'll thank yourself in the end.

03_GT 12-14-2007 05:07 AM

lol, im deff going for a supercharger....Im thinking about putting all the money i get and putting it up towards a new built engine that can handle my driving with a s/c!

WaterDR 12-14-2007 06:01 PM

Waste of money. The hp gains are near nothing accept in a blown application, and they get VERT hot.

3V2000GT 12-14-2007 08:02 PM

this is pretty good intake

black02stang 12-20-2007 05:35 PM

mmff did a test on this didnt do much on a camed and ported heads, it is pretty tho

TheManInBlack 12-30-2007 04:53 PM

BrandonJD25 01-05-2008 11:45 AM

ok so...just got an '02 mustang gt

kinda new to this whole thing, but want to get into it.

in looking around i've seen things for the 2v and 4v (mustangunlimited, etc). what's the diff, and how do i know what i have?

03gtmustang 01-05-2008 04:05 PM

You have a 2v.

r3dn3ck 01-06-2008 09:37 AM

unless your car is called a cobra and is from between 96 and 04 (has to be BOTH) then it's a 2v. If your car is 05+ GT then it's a 3v. Normally you'll know when you have a 4v car...they're more expensive and insurance is an inch from completely unaffordable.
