Burnout

How do I burnout in a 01 Stick-shift stang?

spike_africa 06-07-2005 01:47 PM

here ya go.

1-turn off traction control (if you have it)

2-put car in first gear and rev the motor

3-once the rpms move up past 3,000rpms, take foot off clutch fastly and move to brake

4-apply brake with gas pedal to floor (but dont let the motor bang off the rev limiter)

5-use feet to adjust brake till car doesnt move but doesnt stall car form to much brakes, and use gas ot again keep off rev limiter.

there is also another way called heel toe, where you use your right leg's heel on the brake pedal and toes on the gas to hold the gas and brake down together. and only use left for clutch. this si hard but possible. my first way is easyer.

Or you could do it like the ricers and rev you car up to like 5 grand and then dump the clutch and take off, then stop and go in reverse and do it again!:D

We have RWD if you pull the ebrake it applys pressure to the back brakes so yeah that wont help much.
