Hot Wheels!
I was wondering...after about 20 minutes of driving my rear wheels get real hot...i went to wipe some dirt off them and i burned the sh*t out of my finger! is this normal?

Dont sound right to me.You might check out your wheel bearing or your brakes.
yeah, the same thing happens when i touch my exhaist pipes.... :toothy9: :toothy9:
how do i check?
and whats that supposed to mean? |
two diff opinions ... does it happen to u guys?
It makes sense to me if you think about it. Think about the amount of friction between the road and your tires/brakes. It should get hot shouldnt it? Good ole physics.
My tires are warm sometimes but usually isnt too bad unless the pavement is hot from the sun or your driving for a long period of time.
I would check for sticking rear calipers, or e-brake cables. Do both rear rims get hot or is it just one side? Also check the caliper slide pins and make sure they slide freely.
