Underdrive Pulley Kit?
 
what Underdrive Pulley Kit really does..?
with this i cant use the A/C ?



Example: As Ebay Item >>> Its says give u more power lowering power on front. so im wonder if i cant use A/C agin :poke:

umm...from what i read this kit doesn't touch the a/c at all. it says it reduces the ratio on the crankshaft, alternator, and water pump pulley's. the way it works is the new pulleys are slightly smaller then stock. therefore requiring less effort for the engine to make them spin. you're water pump and alternator will not be functioning as good as they are right now, but they will still work fine. i've heard that if you have major electrical drains (ex: system, lots of lights, etc.) so if u have that stuff don't install the alt. pulley. and you will prolly need a new serpentine belt to go w/them, i'm not sure how much smaller then stock they are and if the tensioner will compensate for it. someone else on here might know.

It reuces the power need to drive the belt system... And yes you can run the AC.

i have the Steeda UDPs and no charging or overheating problems. my ac is as cold as it has ever been
