just installed lt's, got some questions
 

i just installed mac longtubes and an offroad h pipe and magnaflow muffs. im hearing from some guy that i wouldnt lose any horsepower or have any engine problems if i just had the lt's and offroad h without the muffs. is this true?

by mufflers do you mean just mufflers or a whole cat back?

you would see more gains from a FULL exhaust setup then headers, h pipe, and stock cat back.

this guy was talkin about no cat back at all. just straight pipes from the offroad h and back.

You'll lose some power down low but will make more power up top. Add in some cams and a computer re-tune to the mix though and you won't lose any power compared w/ a stock tune/cams.

and you'll be so loud that you'll be stopped constantly. Don't do it... they sound like crap straight off the pipes and I've seen fire shoot out with offroad mid-pipes so uh... yeah at least some LMII's or something like that and some turndowns. THe pipes are there to guide the HOT STUFF away from the FLAMMABLE STUFF.

Dude,no cats and no muffs would sound like crap. You can get by without one of them,not both.
